Last Updated: 1/12/10 I bought this bike back in '05 with the idea of fixing the motor and putting it back on the trail. Then I let several more interesting projects get it front while this one sat in the back of the garage. I have the motor out of it and pulled the top end. It would need a full top-end (new bore, piston, rings, wrist pin & bearing); and bottom (main bearings/seals + rod kit). Probably $250-300 to fix it. I'd take about that for it, so you could end up with a fast as hell old dirt bike with a brand new motor for $500-600. It was tagged in Georgia when I got it, I can tell you a way to tag it in Florida as well. The bike is located in Christmas, FL, just east of Orlando. Delivery could arranged for anywhere along the I-75 corridor from Orlando to north Goergia. email: motorcyclefanatic@gmail.com She's lived a hard life no doubt, but it's all there, even the stock pipe and airbox/filter.
From the looks of the adjustment on the rear brake I'd say the shoes are about gone. But the chain and sprockets look to be in pretty good shape, and the original chain guide is still in place.
Acerbis head lights with a set 50w spotlights from Home Depot, and a Drag Specialties speedo/odo.
