I finally broke down and bought a Harley in 1998.  This is a 1991 FXR, although very few parts remain from the original bike.  It has a 98 c.i. stroker motor, S & S carb, USD forks with PM calipers, rotors, and master cylinders.  The frame has been stretched and all welds polished smooth.  The frame and cases are also power coated.  Everything else is either polished or chrome.  It runs great, there are no plans for further mods at this point.  And in case you're wondering, it doesn't leak oil, the oil stains are from my wife's pickup truck.
