I first found this bike on the local Craigs List about a month before I called on it.  The bike was a little dirty, but ran great and was completely original.  So we haggled a little bit, agreed on a price, and I loaded it up.  I spent a few hours cleaning it up this morning and here's how she turned out.  My plan is to ride it out to Phoenix, where my Mom lives, and leave it out there.  That way I'll have another reason to go see my Mom, and I'll have something nice to ride while I'm there.  She enjoys riding on back too.

The bike was amazingly well kept.  Doesn't even look like it's ever seen dirt.  It came with a new set of tires mounted, as well as a new chain and sprockets.

No oil leaks, and the lower cowling was brand new in the box, I just had to mount it.

All the plastic is still there and in good shape.  The paint is in great condition.  I put on a coat of wax and it shined right up.

I've always liked the look of these bikes.  Plus you don't see many around and that appeals to me as well.  Can't wait to load up from Phoenix and head out for the Grand Canyon.  I've never seen the north rim.  If everything goes well, that's what I'll be doing this fall.
